Mr. Neel's Condo
This is a newly developed condo, designed for a Fortune 500 CEO bachelor,
as his “second home” in the hills of LA. He expressed a strong love of nature;
therefore, I created my design concept as bringing the outside in. I used a variety of woods, stones, and other natural materials throughout the space to not only showcase the beauty of nature, but to also give the condo an overall masculine feel. Mr. Neel requested the largest portion of the condo be dedicated to entertaining, but
he also wanted a few quiet spaces such as a home office/guest room and master suite.

Next University
Next University is a community-based center offering art classes to citizens of all ages. The design concept of this space is thinking outside the box, to inspire creativity. In the center of the space, stands a literal box made of varying height wood pieces, with the distant learning center and faculty hub inside it, and a student lounge and private conference/study rooms on the top. I used color theory meanings to choice my color pallet with the base colors being orange and yellow to stimulate positive energy and happiness. Flexibility is very important throughout the university, needing areas for individuals and groups, in both private spaces and open options.

Living Oaks Senior Community
Living Oaks Senior Community was created to embrace and enjoy the life experiences of the aging population. The property provides several options to occupy your time such as a fishing pond, walking trails, a pavilion with grills, community gardens, water fountain, a gazebo, tennis courts, and a large community center, filled with a variety of activates, as the central hub of the community. The design concept was based off learning and fun activities of college life. Seniors can take class in cooking, music, gardening, drama, aerobics and yoga, arts and crafts, and swimming. Three different types of living facility options were created to be conducive to a wide range of ages and physical needs.
